Dermatology Clinical Fellowships

Fellows in NYU Langone’s Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology train with internationally recognized physicians and researchers and gain comprehensive clinical experience that includes treating a diverse patient population. In recognition of the important role research plays in your development as a fellow, you also participate in research projects under the mentorship of our faculty.

Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship

Our Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship provides broad experience in diagnosing and treating pediatric skin disease. Training includes participation in medical and procedural outpatient care in a variety of settings. You also take part in clinics and multidisciplinary conferences and become an expert in the diagnosis and management of the full spectrum of pediatric skin diseases. This fellowship has been approved by the American Board of Dermatology.

Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship

Fellows in the Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship receive extensive specialized training in the surgical management of skin cancer, including Mohs micrographic surgery. You also perform translational research concerning cutaneous oncology and surgery and have opportunities to teach dermatology residents and medical students. This fellowship is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).

Dermatopathology Fellowship

The Dermatopathology Fellowship prepares dermatologists and pathologists for careers in academic dermatopathology. You receive extensive, hands-on training in dermatopathology through participation in clinics, consults, conferences, and teaching. This fellowship is accredited by the ACGME.

Advanced Medical Dermatology Fellowship

The Advanced Medical Dermatology Fellowship allows fellows to receive highly specialized training and mentorship in the diagnosis and management of complex medical and dermatologic conditions, including autoimmune connective tissue disease, cutaneous lymphoma, and bullous disease.
